The CLL is about teacher professional learning, by teachers and for teachers. The vision is to provide teachers an opportunity to observe, view and hear, best practices in classrooms just like their own. What we discovered, it is an opportunity to not only observe and provide feedback to their peers, but more importantly, it is the purposeful collaborative conversations that occur as a result of the observation. It is transforming the thinking of each person who participates. The host teacher is provided with affirmation, quality feedback, and noted evidence of learning by their students. The guest teachers also gain affirmation, and time to reflect on their own practices.
